Advanced Introduction to Rails

This course is designed around students at the “Advanced Beginner” level. This usually means people who have some experience with Ruby and Rails, but not a large amount.

For example, if you’ve been away from Rails for a few years and need a refresher, or if you have experience working in some other MVC-style frameworks in other languages (but not rails), then this is the course for you.

Sample Syllabus / Schedule

This is a sample syllabus that represents a typical course. But, every class is different. Based on the collective experiences of the attendees, we will re-order, add, and remove modules in order to provide the most relevant content.

The course over a series of three and a half hour sessions spread over five days. This sample syllabus assumes a schedule starting on a Monday and ending on a Friday.

That said, this sample syllabus should give a good idea of what to expect.
